Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

Can somebody explain to all the Directional Drillers layed off or at home why we still use $1850 per day consultants DDs on high profile jobs ?

Because $1850/day is cheaper than a sidetrack for a screwed up trajectory.
