Why would anyone buy NOV now, it's only going to get worse. Wait & buy at the bottom. NOV doesn't have much going for it now, more people in Corporate than in production. Sounds like Obama runs this company!
Yes, mergers and acquisitions have a way of trimming the fat. Also a great way to put a stop to nepotism and favoritism. A business is a business is a business, not a fraternity.
GE will right size the NOV top heavy management structure in no time. This current market conditions this would be the best option for NOV.
