Thread regarding National Oilwell Varco Inc. layoffs

More Layoffs are to Come... it's only at about 30% globally

More layoffs are to come... it's inevitable. Clay, and others, have consistently said they're actively working to reduce capacity. While layoffs s---, WB and CAPS are significantly behind the power curve on reducing capacity. While RS has laid off almost half it's workforce, CAPS and WB are hovering around 25-30%. There's a lot more in those areas to come.

Brace yourselves... start looking early!

Get rid of upper mgt. from the plants to Corporate. That would save millions a month.

Why don't they just have a massive redundancy clear out instead of dragging it out and making people worry from month to month. They obviously employ too many people and don't have enough work it's purely bad management.

More layoffs at Rig Solutions. No orders equals less employees. Some plant are on the chopping block.
