The salesmen we have aren't changing our stars..how about we spend 10% of our lost revenue on salesman with proven solid relationships with our desired customers.. How about 90 salesman paid a million a price.. Lets use our size to put things right again.

Doesn't Baker still have a bonus program relative to overall performance which for the salesforce means increasing sales and for technical lab people mean product innovation?
I've always said and still say, put sales folks on a commission with some type of base and you'll see some selling then or you're gone! Bet ya would see some selling then!
There are groups within BHI doing very well with minimal salespeople. Best example is one non core unmentioned group with 1 or 2 salespeople generating millions of dollars. These people are acting like Charles Atlas and lifting up their division.
Why hire more worthless maggots?
Craig Mueller destroyed Sales in the US. Throughout the potential merger, he only kept his "buddies", protecting & shuffling so they wouldn't be laid off. It's all catching up now because so many great at sales & understanding the business are gone.
Sales seems to need some type of infusion possible they are all anemic.
