It was tongue in cheek, dullard f@ck
Sadly, neither of these acquisitions will move the needle either way (good or bad). VZ makes capital investments every year in excess of $15B. You would need to invest at these levels get any meaningful bump in earnings, VZ is not capable of organic growth and really does not know what it wants to do to grow the business. So, in the interim, they will have a fling with digital media adv, then they will get bored, just like they did with their Cloud aspirations or their $35 billion investment in the ground (FiOS).
I'm still getting notifications...maybe your just a stupid F.
The Yahoo deal hasn't even closed yet dumb--s
F-- up Yahoo? Name one company VZ has bought and hasn't fuked up?
4 ? They would be lucky to have 4 on Blow90
2sub - don't forget about the 4 people that use GO90!!!
Wonder who is going to make the most noise, the 7 people that use Yahoo or the 4 people that used AOL?
Vahooooooooooooooo!!!
The assimilation will be completed soon, and the final excretion of Yahoo....wont be pretty, like any other acquisition promises will be broken at the end...
They stopped Verizon email now yahoo mail. They think it's more efficient to send a letter. Old guys always think what goes around comes around.
Oh yes, the first thing Verizon wanted to do was stop those Yahoo E-mail notifications. Everyone knows how much those notifications hurt the bottom line. Next I'm hearing is that Verizon is replacing the Y in Yahoo with a V. Good move that Y was getting old.
