Not much activity anymore at Tomball . Just waiting to hear when we get our walking papers . Seems all business is International and it is dying quickly. Someone said too much overhead , this is correct seems everyone in Tomball is a supervisor or manager . How can a company that is doing so poorly keep so many people like this ?

still have 150 or so at 2920 but not much real activity. building needs a serious power wash.

training looks full staffed in belief they can hire some pedestrians if it turns around.

Tomball and PP was a really big risk for Baker Hughes and now this cost associated with PP is just flat out awful.

Tomball is waste of funds that could be used in a profitable way . Sell Tomball and get out of the way so people in the field can make money for the company.

When Baker bought Tomball it was a 5 billion dollar investment . Today PP is struggling to stay above 1 billion because of market conditions and high overhead . 38% might sound like not many but costs are awful. This needs to change or PP will continue to decline . To call this a carnage is unfair to the rest of the company . People in the worldwide field are hurting . Nobody cares when they are cut .

To the poster who asked about cuts at Tomball: according to Peoplelink (excluding the education center) today's workforce at Tomball is about 38 % of what it was in mid January 2015 when the carnage began.

Why do we need Tomball , we get our pay cut in the field . We get reduced hours . We have lost so many people and Tomball seems like nothing happens . No pay cuts no hours cut . I agree we need to make a profit Slash Tomball and let the field make money . We are all in the field trying keep our jobs and feed our families and we have to pay for Tomball.

Tomball needs to cut , too much over head . Get out of the way and let us in the field do our jobs. We need to make a profit.
