There will be a must move PDC in the fall. More people than positions so there will be left standing. ESP in the spring with ~3000 additional cuts targeted.
Any rumors on ESP, PDC, etc.? I am busy currently but I know a lot of folks who don't have much to do. They are trying to look busy, sometimes inventing work that does not contribute to the bottom line. We keep loosing money, so this is obviously not going to continue. There has to be staff reduction- either incentivize eligible folks to retire or just old-fashioned layoff. When do you think we might hear something?
2bty, I've been out of the market for 3 months. All cash now. Waiting on the sidelines for a huge correction to take place before mopping up on cheap stocks.
0% interest rates going on almost 10yrs. now. Share buy back keeping stock market reaching all time highs. This economy is going to blow up at anytime. I will be one of the lucky ones, Im smart...others not so lucky. GET OUT OF THE MARKET, NOW.
I'm not surprised and maybe you are not either to know that many folks, including the very well paid at Chevron, live paycheck to paycheck in this country. Many make bad choices, are terrible at personal finance, live to impress friends and neighbors, and somehow think the gravy train won't ever end. Yes, at the end of the day, there are more than a few that don't have two nickels to rub together. A rude awakening awaits those people.
In this day of low interest rates, if you are carrying high interest debt it probably means you don't have two nickles to rub together at the end of the month. That being the case, those losers aren't paying off anything.
There's no doubt, another round of layoffs is coming the first half of 2017. Start saving money and paying down your high interest debts. Refinance that mortgage before you're unemployed.
