Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Benefits vote??

I love how they spin this "vote on what you will lose or pay more for benefit" as a positive thing.we always have the vote format handed or force fed to us with no input.its always about some bottom line which only helps profitability.how come we can never vote on a stock gains kickback to employees when the stock rises a certain %..??? Or vote to go back to our benefits from like the year 2000??

These benefits votes are non-binding anyway. So pointless.

What if everyone just refused to vote period all we are doing is voting for less!

They yap about how " we voted for it" like its some kind of choice if no one votes and informs the media as to why we refused to vote maybe WF would change their tune? What does it matter anyway we are still going to get less! if you do vote sit at the computer on their time and take your sweet time doing it you might as well make some money for it and if you want you can just sit there as if you are voting and not even really vote!! Waste their money and keep yourself off the floor as long as possible so they will make even less money!

ACT UP!!

Consumer Reports, September 2016 issue. The cover story is about-supplements. They say it's their complete guide to safety. Can you guess one of the companies that are mentioned? And I bought my copy at that company. Everyone should read it.

Although the cost of our deductible and prescription costs have gone way up since the implementation of the p.w.a card the amount they allot on a annual basis on the card has stayed the same for 10 or so years..wholefail...wallstreetfoodsmarket

The benefits are ridiculous. I've had a lot of jobs and this company's offering are laughable. I have never seen or heard of a deductible that high! Plus the fact that they only add just over $1k a year onto your card? Laughable and insulting.

Our healthcare is a joke. Looks good on paper because OMG less than 40 bucks a check for me and my family! Oh sh--, my son got strep, it's gonna cost me 70 bucks at my doctor and then another 100 in a bill that comes later. Get any labs or bloodwork done and pay for the hundreds with your health card. That sh-- is usually depleted for my family by November and we spend every flu season hoping no one gets anything other than a cold until some more money drops in January 1st

How about rolling back the free stock being handed out to mis-management made possible by mortgaging the company's future the tune of ONE FREAKIN' BILLION DOLLARS?

I appreciate the attempt by whole foods to get rid of mental health coverage... But seriously if ANY company needs to offer mental health coverage it's whole hell...
