It's embarrassing to read some of these posts insulting others, writing styles, etc. I get it that people are stressed and worried but at the very least be kind and acknowledge that people all around the world are going through the same process. We have great employees of all cultures who are at risk so stop the crap.
As others have said, we all have great skills even if a non-technical role. No one who has been around more than a year should be surprised by this. There are many great posts about how to network and what to do (meaning shop your resume around). If you chose to stick your head in the sand because you thought that you are above getting laid off then it's your own fault for not starting the job search process weeks ago. Stop blaming everyone else for your lack of planning.
Good luck to you all. I hope the posts going forward show the best of who we really are instead of school kids insulting each other.
