In Bangalore the condition is grim, many and many more contractors have been removed, i being one among them. warning to other contractors go find refuge in other companies.
Some more notices went out yesterday. I know some people who's last day is Friday. They were told yesterday and they are not contractors. Apparently they will be doing it little by little so they dont have to give WARN letters. Sly.
Why blame Etihad? They gave us money and business which cartoons who lead us dont deserve.
Marketing is a lying machine and the worst amongst them lead them. Dummies who know nothing about Airlines or Technology or atleast ethics are the decision makers. They make false promises to clients and set wrong expectations. Each time they mess up, people are promoted. Like the loser who was saved last round of firings by moving to different team and who was recently promoted by friends for all his negative impact. Now these trouble makers will decide who to fire and drag sabre into even deeper sh--.
Probably it starts with most of contractors being dispatched first and then the full-timers.
Re Interact: Developers were not laid off, only testers with a specific contract company. Other contractors were not (yet) affected. No perm employees were affected.
Nope the Copa people were all gone in May and June. Maybe need to stop s---ing up to Etihad, that mentality has ruined this company. Don't be surprised if EY buys Sabre and everything moves to AbuDhabi.
Ive heard about the Delivery layoffs as a rumor but just related to the people working on the failed Copa Airlines cutover. Havent heard anything about bldg B.
