Companies are innovating less and less

Let's take Googlle, Microsoft, Adobe, Master Card, Pepsi, Netapp - what's happening?

@asg agreed, lots of luck involved, but the opputunity are out there, not for the faint-hearted, payments cash is another area. China is like so much ahead of USA and it's like a 3-5% fraction/drag on econemy. USA has the best risk/opputunity profile of any place in the world. We need to size it, and people are. Just won't happen at Intel

Cars will undergo a revolution, it won't be powered by x86 I am almost certain...

The number of cars sold will plummet changing the car industry, the insurance industry and laying waste to multiple car companies in the US, Europe and Far East...

Innovation is rarely predicted ahead of time, it often steam rolls you from the strangest of places. It is also many times luck that chooses the winner

Only look at Intel and MS as two examples and also two examples left in the dust

Google was innovative but can't catch up to FB...

Innovation can't be predicated nor controlled by the big companies... and especially one with lower intelligence.. LOL

Just think average car payment 300 or 400 pm, majntenance, parking etc.... upto 600/pm ...many places cars cost as much as housing like in Alabma, upstate NY etc...,we go to driverless cars hail when you need one buy 10k miles a year cheaper than owning, won't need a 3 car garage or any garage. The opputunity is so big

Huge changes in transportion, and energy, storage grids coming. SOLAR HAS GONE FROM 200 Usd per watt to less than 1 watt usd, wind and solar beat any new coal or Gas plant ...still missing storage but lots of research going on. Looks like batteries will got very light and get to 50 usd per KW. The big stuff may come from Google, very few commerical companies doing big stuff. The Universities top 20 are amazjin places small groups 50% Chinese post docs. Very small groups of people are going to make huge huge amounts of money. It's not risk free

5G could be big five years out could kill cable.

We sell 60mil + cars a year/world wide, if we get driverless cars Google will be golden

All these companies have indian CEO who arrived in USA on student or H visa. A tribuate to America.

It's actually a time of great innovations read up on Steven Chu at Stanford re energy batteries.

The sad part is we will Ned less people to work

Then you got intel

x86: more cores, more and faster USB, interfaces blah blah blah... and they wonder why when it is good enough and boots we don't need another PC till it breaks.

Phones.. nobody would ever want one of those iSomethings.. PSO, he don't work here any more

BK: Lets do memory, VR, 5G and IoT just like everyone else... we can at least put on a big show and throw lots of money at it, but innovations, they have no clue
