Still no length-of-service payment, called HR but they refused to escalate

Was ISPed in April, returned the release document in early June, received the $9000 COBRA payout in Aug 1 but no length-of-service payment yet. Called HR today, was told to wait until the end of month before they'll escalate. For those of you who got them to escalate what did you do to make it happen ?

Thanks.

Call payroll (800) with option 7. They were the only ones who seemed to have accurate info. They can check your name/ID and what payments made or planned. Note I was ISP end April too and it took them over 90 days to pay everything finally. That was despite being told verbally and in several emails from Transitions that it would all be done by mid-June. Reality was early Aug.

I received my severance at the end of July, after being told it would originally be paid the middle of July. I called and basically told them I urgently needed the money and and was there anyway it could be escalated. I used words such as I was distressed and distraught but did not blame them for the problem. In my case this seemed to work and they did escalate to somebody 3rd level support who was very helpful and communicated regularly with me, and confirmed the payment date and I got the payment as promised.
