The "boot"

The sting. I was 95% convinced I was out. Yet again my intuition served me right. I got the swift kick in the rear. Regardless, still stings. For me it was blue badge vs. red badge. I was the only one at my level with a blue badge in our group. I was certain when the "next round" hit I'd feel the boot in the butt. Ouch. I was also informed that future reqs in my group will be red badge only. So, it doesn't matter if you work 10-12 hr days, consistently have outstanding / exception rating or receive several awards during the course of the year, it's all about the bottom line. For me it wasn't about brown nosing. It was red vs. blue. Cheaper labor. You work your tail off just to bend over and take it in the butt. That's life....moving right along...

Red badge is not cheap for cisco actually. Its about the cost being in cap-ex vs being in op-ex
