It seems like many people on here want this phrase (core value) to resonate with the rest of us like it is some sort of moral code written in stone by whole foods. Is it not obvious that team member happiness is not a priority anymore? Don't be so shocked that whole foods no longer cares about your feelings. Unless your feelings can turn a profit of course!

It's very annoying. The funny thing about whole foods is that they probably have the talent within to put their company back on track but are too out of touch to utilize it.
Many of people over the years were promoted by favoritism instead of talent and steered the train right off the tracks.
Now, the truly talented people are working only for a paycheck and utilizing their talents elsewhere where it is appreciated.
