Layoffs coming by EOY. All MAM accounts and some MAMs will be moved to the WBG. SMB will be rolled into Retail. Senior Managers and Reps at risk. Managing Partners are aligning themselves to move to WBG. They already know about this here.

Telesales fires people too fast no need for a layoff all they need is a hiring freeze
What about telesales?
Every year they add another metric to your quota then come up with some unobtainable comp plan that is confusing. Managers are too busy watching scorecards and Sales Force Dashboards and don't care about their reps. There is a movement to drive out older tenured MAMs and thin the herd. They think they can get they same quality work ethic and experience out of people that have only been in retail or small accounts. Verizon Wireless loves to brag about me the best place to work and so caught up innrscial diversity when they forget who has been generating the revenue sales and customer retention. There is extreme favoritism shown in the way they manage MAMs and the accounts that are assigned.
They don't look at what an individual has done for Verizon over their career just what you can do this month. Managers come out of Retail and are completely clueless as to what it takes to be a MAM and how much work load there is. They press you to sell accessories and half the time the accessories aren't in the warehouse. 2 years ago IoT was all they cared about. That was short sighted and now in 2016 its all about new activations and renewals DUH. Karma is a bitch

I stunned they are going to roll SMB into retail when heard rumors about the future of retail itself...
