Do front regional coordinators really need all those assistants? I remember when one person did this job. Can we cut some of the fat at regional?? Or at least make em pt20s

Some incorrect information here. Team Leaders will not revert to ATL if they do not get the combined TL spot. Most regions will hold new postings for a week before making them more widely available in the hopes of keeping the (ex) TL within the company. If within the combined team their is an ATL opening then being moved into that role is a strong possibility.
Whatever the case, end the of quarter one is the window for those Tl's in stores at 400k or less to find a position before separation/severance is a strong reality. This scenario will repeat a year from now for stores around 600-650k or less and two years from know for stores at 900k or less.
Nobody will be let go, but if you belong to seafood, meat, grocery, whole body, specialty, bakery and prepared foods then your teams will be merging and you will have to apply for TL of that combined team. If you don't get the job as TL, then you supposedly will default to ATL. There will be no severance packages for anyone since you will default to ATL. If you quit, no unemployment either. Destin was created as a test store for this model and it works for tier one stores. The tier two stores will determine whether the business can work on bare bones leadership, probably salaried. If tier two works then tier three will be rolled out ASAP. This move to eliminate top paid TL's will save the company about $108,000,000 in wages. Set your plan now. Luckys and Sprouts are paying top dollar for what information you can provide right now.
It's only a matter of time before buyers are replaced by automated ordering, it will happen sometime in a couple of years. This is part of the master plan. Not sure what will happen with supervisors, I'm sure they would still be needed to some extent, but will probably be downgraded to a lower wage in time.
So team leaders will now have to re-interview and duke it out to see who stays and who goes. What about supervisors and buyers?
LOL- GroBody was tried YEARS ago...Fresh Pond Boston back in the day...did not work then. A company that has lost its way! Would not go to WFM for advice on anything... the talent has left along with the knowledge!
CONFIRMED! FL REGION IS MERGING TEAMS. Let the games begin!
They wanted to build a second store on south beach,8 blocks from the current store..yes 8 blocks on the same road..and that new store was surrounded by 2 publix stores,a fresh market and one small local fine grocer..genius of cannibalism
And isn't there a new one in Orlando opening a few minutes away from another wf?
No longer possible for me to defend this company that I have killed myself for.
Some newer stores down here posted combined positions right after the September cuts, and a few such positions have popped up periodically since. Any idea which stores will be combining this quarter? I assume all will eventually.
Team leaders were notified today. Not sure when everyone else will be notified that the sh--'s hitting the fan. I can only assume that leadership/supervisor/buyer positions will be condensed and cut.
Has Florida region not been the highest comping region in the Wfm family? Somehow, enjoying this carcass as it gets eaten up by the selfish self serving vultures at the dysfunctional regional and corporate offices.
Florida has some underperforming stores that do less than the 550-600k per week..some is due to bonehead regional placement decisions-destin?jacksonville,tally,and store cannibalism too.some of those brown nosong team leaders are gonna be really sorry they kissed so much butt
