They are high school graduates, they were putting in phone jacks prior to becoming an "executive".. Now most of them think they are politicians. They spend most of the time pushing their political opinions on us.. Instead of focusing on the member group they are responsible for, they are consumed with taking selfies with deadbeat politicians....send them back to their tools already, enough is enough....imo

They're high school graduates because we the membership elect these morons. We all know that most of the membership have higher education and as such do not want to get involved because the mental midget mentality in the union extends way beyond that of the BA's. As for the politics, all unions are require by to spend no more than 10 percent of their time with the membership promoting political junk. They are by law, at their creation, supposed to be addressing grievances with their membership 90 percent of the time. Anything less than that, jeopardizes their union status which affords certain legal and tax shelter protection. Don't believe me, challenge them and see what happens. Threaten them with legal action and you will see a change it that non nonsense.
Just a guess but...companies usually layoff the people easily replaced or not needed. Local BA's are certainly not needed and especially when they are embedded for 30 years. Term limits for four years max!....
And this has to do with layoffs how?
