No RIF. Enjoy the holiday weekend. Stop dwelling on that. With that said if you are mgt, dwell on getting out of debt. All debts. Pay everything off now. Do not put it off. So if you get riffed down the road it won't be as bad.

One of the reasons there hasn't been a mgmt RIF is because the only people that are still there are soooooo good at giving their directors, senior mgmt and Lowell what the "really" want, it's tough to figure out who to get rid of next.
I can just see that sweaty director or Lowell snuggled up on their backs, breathing hard and saying, "I can't RIF you ...."

@OP, good advice, A RIF is not a small or easy activity. HR, Legal (Internal and External) and a host of VPs and Shammo Captains are involved. When it comes, it will be quick. Anyone less than VP or SVP level do not know the big picture(number of RIFs, what job titles/career bands or Department) , so don't believe the BS on this forum. I am concerned about the severance payout changing to a flat amount (less than current rules) no matter how many years service.
