Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

It's a holiday weekend, so where are all of our customers? Is your store like this too?

To be honest 4th of July is always in the slowest fiscal period of the year. People go out of town. Don't don't forget you work at whole foods where the average customer can afford to take long, expensive vacations.

From what I understand the regional marketing teams were responsible for the bundle deal every year. Maybe they couldn't promote it without in-store marketers?

We've been down sales since the layoff last September. It's gotten worse since the summer hit. What i find strange is no bundle deal...anyone know why? That would have brought some customers in the store. Is WF just giving up???

Dead today, dead yesterday. It's been like this for awhile though. Valentine's was dead too and that's when I should have known something was up.

I heard that Winn Dixie is giving all their 4th of July sales to veterans and wounded warriors. It that's the case the Florida region will be a ghost town tomorrow.
