After all these extremely highly paid individuals receive in 1 day what it takes us a year to earn. For these people worries like mortgage and college for their kids is not an issue. When BK talks about not keeping his hands inn the steering wheel when driving top work that's because his chauffeur does it. Aicha complains she doesn't see her children bit she's nearly always in Oregon working 9-5. Maybe it's easier for the nanny to do it. Then there poor Murthy with his long commute every day on his private jet. I feel for these people

OP- Isn't the answer obvious?. If i am not mistaken they just fired you. If they didn't care about you then, they definitely don't care about you now since you are no longer an Intel employee. You shouldn't care about them either.. time to move on.

People at that level could care less about the worker bees. All they care about is how much money they can suck out of the company.
Intel is probably OK for an entry level engineering position. But look around for better first. Especially in the Bay Area. And if you accept Intel, do not stay too long. The future for this company is murky right now (though I am not among the haters predicting its demise). It will be a very different company, assuming it survives intact, five years from now. They send very mixed messages about "lifetime career" but can't support it with reality anymore. They have also fallen off of every "best companies to work for" list. Their outdated "focal" system is brutal and anti-collaboration. They are currently led by a process manager from the manufacturing world with no real vision beyond playing with drones and TV reality shows.
Being jealous of others is petty. Besides, they only care about you if you're a URM.
And no, they don't "make in a day what we make in a year". Stick that right back where it came from
They might definitely be doing all these actions to make intel a youthful company by getting rid of old donkeys.
Top executives view the workers like Generals in war... beast of burden to an ends, there will be casualties of war, that is just the nature of their responsibility.
Some will die, be cast off, part of their high compensation job, well above the death and end of career / life decisions they make.
The guys at VP and above just skate above all the death and family impact, they don't give a $hit beyond enhancing their pocket book, ego, or career.
I have met a few that do care, but even they struggle in crazy VP and higher land, everyone is for themselves and their career/legacy.
In the end everyone needs to think for themselves as I've learned their boss doesn't give a dang when the ship is sinking for anything but themselves.
They live in a bubble. They will be the subject of many business lectures on how to screw a 50 billion dollar company.
They don't think of us, DUH.
