Verizon To Raise Rate Plan Prices

Verizon being the dumbass company it is, will raise it prices once again to ensure it keeps the highly coveted reputation as being overpriced. Way to go Verizon, keep finding ways to fail so you can lay off more hard working employees:

im a union member and still surprised we did so well. gotta hand it to the CWA, the timing was spot on and the company underestimated our resolve. fios and wireline in general is indeed a small contributor to the overall pot, but still an important(and much needed) one.

@2bic The wireline just brought the Top 15 Fortune 500 Verizon to it's knees, and it only took 49 days. Just ask Wall Street today after that spanking the Union put on Verizon, Who's the Boss. Nuff said.

Pure fantasy. Everything is still running off the old network but they're calling the copper lines "special access" now so it can be monopolized. Also, they're 5G plans still run off of fiber. The wireline network is needed now more than ever.

Verizon has added a condition to the management RIF package that you must sign up for a Triple Play and wireless package and keep it for 3 years in order to get and keep your severance.

When the Outside is sold next year Verizon will have its Central Offices for large transport and its Wireless which will start replacing all outside lines. Good bye Outside lazy scumbags who only know green to green, red to red, duh I'm a Union sheep worker.

Honestly , everyone talks about higher plans but no one mentions more data along with it. Everyone complains about Verizon's overages noones mentions the opt in for a throttle to avoid overages and unlike the other ones an option to buy extra alacarte data if u need it . Everyone talks about how great the union is but forget that everything the wireless union members got last month were given to the non union employees last year . And the time arrangements have been there for years . Instead of pushing union or non union just remember this , if it weren't for the company you claim to hate so much you'd all be out of work and the union or non union wouldn't matter because your asses would be out of a job

@igqx I thought that FIOS accounts for mere pennies in Verizon profits...So it would seem that it's the Lazy overpaid Wireless, workers, that hide all day, and do nothing, that would be the reason Verizon has to raise it's WIRELESS rates. Moron.

They should RIF all the do nothing managers, and all the inside do nothing but pretend to work staff. Verizon is overloaded with non-Union fake pretend to work and look busy staff. They hide in there cubicles, and offices, and pretend to look busy. The place is full of redundancy. They know full well they don't earn the money they're paid. Verizon is overloaded with jobs that a communication company does not need. AX them and and save hundreds of millions of dollars.

VERIZON HAS TO RAISE RATES BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT BRAVE ENOUGH TO KICK THE LAZY OVERPAID UNION SCUMBAGS.

Not sure TV will, but the secure uninterrupted fiber data connection that is now fueling everything in the home just might be. No guarantees in wireless, and that's not just talk, but absolute fact, anyone in the industry will tell you that, but fiber can in fact guarantee.

Fios right now probably Verizon's best product, and service. The shame is, it's not available everywhere, and in fact very few area's. The cell services do not stand out on it's own the way Fios does, It really is a great product.

Yes. People can't get enough of that Go90! don't forget about HUM, they are lining up for that one too! I have T Mobile and for about half the cost, I may see coverage that is about 10% worse than Verizon so no, I am not crazy about the Verizon network, not willing to be gouged.

People that pay all that money for Apple are sheep.

Apple prices are high but we still buy them don't we? We buy them because the Apple products seem to have a favorite noticeable difference. This is exactly Verizon thinking, but is there really a favorite noticeable difference with Verizon service? Verizon of coarse is a company that delivers a service, not so much a product. Personally the Verizon product, and service that I have seen that is noticeably different to the competitor is the Verizon FIOS. And It is head and shoulders above the rest.

My view on rollover data = If your rolling over data then your on too high of a rate plan and wasting money.

With service like Google's Fi you only pay for what data you use. The price is the same whether you use 1gig or 20. That's the way it should be until mobile data is completely eliminated or commoditized by blanketed wifi signal everywhere.

They're finally doing rollover data but too late - I already left them.

This is the effect of union thugs standing in front of wireless stores and having everyone they know leave verizon. Right?

Verizon throws money at it's employees to treat them like p--p. So if you like the money, you better like p--p.

I will gladly accept an EISP layoff offer. This place is nothing but a dead end to begin with. Always look for ways to keep you pigeonholed/stuck
