Any news on raises this year?

Usually about this time we get word about raises. I have not heard anything so far. Meanwhile Tom walks away with his 900 million...

PIP is Performance Improvement Plan. Means your on notice to improve your work or you are out. However, most people rarely make it out of PIP status. Your fate is already determined and this is just a formality. You better start looking.

Also my group got an average 2.9% raise.

In my grp we got measly 2% and manager was talking as if this is great at this time. Dont know abt layoffs but talks r there dont know the real pic.. Managers might know but keeping mum..

Anyone who received a low or PIP at midyear will be laid off by year end. Better start looking now.

Ha..to the above...they already are. Heard a bunch of people in Krakow got the axe because of losing Copa. Half year DPM's generating PIP's for the "undesireables"...we all know what that means.

Probably not. Sales continue to be low. Soon mgrs and above will be treating employees like they should be thankful they even have a job.
