Today I am announcing a change in leadership of the Follett Higher Education Group (FHEG) – Don Germano, FHEG’s President since 2013, has left the company to pursue other opportunities. I want to thank Don for his commitment to Follett and wish him all the best for the future.
Effective immediately, the FHEG Senior Management Team will report to me:
· Clay Wahl, Executive Vice President, Sales Operations
· Roe McFarlane, Senior Vice President, eCommerce, Digital Product Management, and Marketing
· Carol Winter, Senior Vice President, General Merchandise
· Jenn Hatton, Vice President, Operations Course Materials
· Maureen Vear, Vice President, General Merchandise
FHEG’s fiscal 2017 goals remain in place and the critical work underway to prepare for Fall Rush continues as before.
The campus retail business has been a core part of Follett for more the 80 years, and today we are the leader in this segment of the higher education market. Growing this business profitably is my top priority, and I know we have the team members to make it happen. The Follett Board and family are committed to this transformation, and they have already provided significant resources and support to help us succeed.
