Word on the street is another two have thrown the towel in on the Anson soap opera; the Sales manager, and the new QA engineer. According to well founded reports; an order went out on time so Dan has had to leave for health reasons, apparently the shock almost killed him. Also from reliable sources; the QA bloke has chucked his lot in because when he read the Anson product catalogue at the interview and saw we made seats, bonnets and boots, he thought we were making car parts so he's had it away on his toes at his sheer disgust of not being in the automotive industry.

Well I am that said QA Engineer who know's nothing about the oil and gas industry or valves for that matter. My name is Mark Errington who will not be hiding behind his keyboard.
For your information I have just finished a 4 year assignment with BP for a North Sea project..........I was not aware that BP make cars......oh if you mean petrol then possibly I am connected in some way to cars.
I am leaving NOV to take up another assignment again within the oil and gas industry. From what I can see from my very short time here is that the New Quality department may well be filled with guys who have worked in the automotive industry, however the principles of quality don't change and are transferable to any industry. Yes they do not have O&G specific experience, however there are others in the dept that do.
