@1lua you really think Aicha will turn against BK after all he has done for her. If it was not for BKs URM policy, she would be in the street unemployed since she is useless.

Sounds like he would rather to go to work for BK (Burger King) instead. This guy cares nothing about employees.

@1haw - If he doesn't want to be CEO, then he shouldn't be CEO. And everyone involved would thank him for that. Plenty other more capable people would want the position, well maybe not that many anymore after the recent BK'ing of the company. Still, finding someone more capable shouldn't be impossible, the bar is set pretty low.

This article really made me cringe. I honestly thought I was reading the Onion... BK probably is just saying this to pander towards engineers. He think this will increase his appeal because he thinks we're all slobs who don't care what we look like. Sort of like how his LinkedIn job title is "Engineer".

The dude doesn't want to be CEO, just like most managers at Intel don't want to be managers.

Well, you cannot blame him for telling the truth - putting on suit other than short is more difficult than laying off 12k people. It is tough to hear that, I know, but he was telling the truth when asked. Deal with it. He sounds stupidly funny but he was honest for a moment.

It's all about HIM ... what a pathetic, narcissistic sociopath this BK is. No empathy whatsoever for any of the laid off staff or their families.

Just like the phrase, 'first world probems' , his problems are CEO problems. For him diversity means walking into a room full of men, along with his diverse staff (including women and African American leader). Well that explains his thinking of trying to replicate American Society at Intel by hiring URMs (for him Intel is the few people he interacts with and the people in the meetings he goes to).

Jesus Crackers, just when I think my opinion of BK can't go any lower, BK proves me wrong by BK'ing himself.

The wardrobe is worse that laying off people. That's your dignity and respect, people.

But when Fortune's Adam Lashinsky asked Krzanich the worst part of being CEO, Krzanich didn't even miss a beat. It's the wardrobe.

What a moron? Company is going Down Under, 12K people are out, head will continue to roll (another 20K to prepare in 2017)... And his biggest concern is "The Wardrobe"???

What a clown. The worst part about being Intel CEO is that he has to dress better and cannot wear shorts and a t shirt to work?! The board is spineless and worthless, but should tell him to take his millions, go home, and then he can dress however he likes.

This guy is a line manager who somehow worked his way up by default.

He keeps getting absolutely slammed by these business journalists. Maybe it's due to the fact he has no knowledge of business. Go back to Chem101, sir.
