Honeywell is laying off great American workers so they can mover them to China and India. Products that are being produced overseas stink. Honeywell is definitely not the company it once was. Employees who aren't laid off have the worst benefits, no raises. Glad I left but I feel bad for he workers who can't, however it's only a matter of time before they are gone too. Be careful if you decide to consider applying and/or taking a position at Honeywell.

Take a look at Fortune 500 companies, every single one of them does IT in India and manufactures in China - that's the reality , you cannot make money (ie, evade taxes, keep exuberant ceo pay) or stay in business (ie, falsely inflate stock prices, eliminate middle class employees) unless you follow that pattern…
What's the pattern? China is not cheaper anymore like years ago and same as India.
365 days travelling to U.S from both China and India to do the work with best hotel, food, car rent and bring the entire with families to the U.S meanwhile with sh.... products.
Good friends/coworkers of mine were laid off today because their jobs moved to China and India. The company thinks they are saving money by outsourcing but products are never released on time because the the people overseas have no clue what they are doing and what the business is. They stay in this country for 6-9months, stay at the best hotels, are bussed in everyday, have all their expenses paid and when they go back to their country they still get he engineering wrong. How does that save money. Sell your Honeywell stock because if all the great, knowledgeable American workers are laid off, Honeywell won't be in business for long.
This is why products that you but today are sh--. India and China don't understand the business and don't care about the products. It's cheaper in the short run but what will it really cost these companies. Very sad where this country is going
Today Honeywell fired the Hardware Engineers in Melville NY and random marketing, SW, and finance employees. Its all outsourced to China. Rumors indicate more are on the way. No raises while the stock is at its highest price and Cote makes millions. America the corrupt!
Find me one publicly traded company that does not fit your description...
