Interesting powerpoint from the geoscientists today. Apparently due to the effects of global warming, there is a knock on effect of the internal temperature of the earth increasing also. For every 10 feet in depth the earth's temperature is increasing by a factor of 2. As the heat increases so does the pressure on every strata. This is causing oil and gas deposits to form much earlier than expected. So basically in 50 years we will all be literally floating on oil.

Thanks BoD, this blog gets a bit depressing sometimes with so called "people in the know" harping on about 40% staffing reductions. Like we didnt know?! Wow what a surprise! Who would have thought it? As everyone over here always says, when BoD catches a cold the rest of Baker sneezes to a man, so stay healthy BOD!
