Sell them, you already made money. Put it somewhere else you think is more stable.

Wait until end of this year when stock goes up to $40+ due another 10-15k being laidoff.

I am not sure if NOT selling any of your INTC stocks for many years is a good investment. You put too many eggs in one basket. Anyway, since you get a big lump sum of paid this year, you are already in a high tax bracket, selling any more stock will bump you up even higher. Stock tends to go up temporary when the company have a big layoff, after that, who knows?

Sell it now, if I were you.

I bought the shares when they were $18 back in 2012. Enjoyed a great dividend of $1.04 a share each year since then. Whonis the idiot now ?

If you make financial decisions based on feedback from this board you are an idiot and an idiot for having 3400 shares of Intel.

Doesn't matter how high the stock goes, the fact that no one is buying PC and the same people are making poor decisions means more layoffs to come.

Stagger your sale. I started selling at $34.50, and put 30 day orders in for $35, $35.50 and $36.00. That way you'll get some additional upside as the stock price climbs.

Sell before they announce earnings on the 20th cause it will be a blood bath.

Calculate and set your trailing stops!

I don't think they will go higher than 36-37. Historically, they surge prior to earnings announcements and then come down right after the earnings call. For this particular quarter, it seems that analysts are expecting a pretty rosy picture from Intel (due to all the hype that has been coming out the past few weeks), which I'm not confident BK will be able to deliver. Therefore, I would recommend to sell at least a portion of stocks (if not all) prior to earnings call.

Stock market is tough to predict (or else I would have been a millionaire by now, but anyways) so I would suggest sell half now as its >35 and keep half till the quarterly results are out. In this case if the stock falls down you can reduce your losses and if it goes up you still reduce your losses by holding them.

Noone could give a definite answer on stock price. But your upside is 5950$ which you could be risking for a potentially large downside cosidering the markets are frothy; pc shipments forecasted down 5%, and history showing resistance at these levels. That is not to say it cant hit 37 because i didnt expect it to go to 35 either. Good luck if you wait it out may work...
