Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

What days of month are layoffs?

I recall seeing a posting that layoffs occur something like the 1st and 3rd Wed of the month, can anyone clarify with inside knowledge at all?

I call it Red Wednesday. We have had 11 rounds of layoffs in the last 3 years in our Loss Mit group. Always happens on Wednesdays.

Get positive fast so you can think outside the box and dig deep, retrain or get a dif job interview, and move on voluntarily. The negative culture alone is soul crushing and mind numbing at an equal or greater cost than the paycheck except for those who could actually retire from working for a living.

I was laid off on the 4th Weds of the month a while back so there is no rhyme or reason. Just know that there is life after BAC and in my experience it is much better than life at BAC so stay positive.

The company is so big, layoffs happen all the time and you'll not even notice it

There's no rhyme or reason on any specific days they layoff people. It's random.
