This is nothing new. I found out my campus didnt allow alumni to access equipment and facilities like they said ablut 1/2 way through my schooling back in 2009!!! This is business as usual for them. Say whatever to enroll students and then pull the rug out and let them bash their skulls open on the concrete on their way down.
I know for a fact the new grads were told when they toured the school before signing up that we provide school services to the alumni. It makes me ill when I think about the lies the students were told just to sign on the dotted lines.
@IsQ1FQV-pua: which campus do you work? Apparently, this is happening at Chicago and Tinley as per the Dean at Tinley. New grads were told it's a no go. Nice, huh?
What are job support services?
Grads /alumni are allowed to return to campus as guests and use facilitates to fine tune their ports and resumes for up to 6 months after graduation. But they cannot check out gear overnight or weekends since they no longer have students IDs in the system. I have seen many grads helping friends on their projects and on computers in the labs.
