@CWP You have that wrong idiot......It's the millennials that live in their parents basements, not the Union folks. The Union folks have very well paying jobs, own their own homes, and left their mothers aprons years before today's brats.

This site started as a Management RIFs site.

The Union people have the Joe Schmuck site to comment about layoffs, ESIPs ...etc..(http://www.joeshmucksboard.org/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=9)

The Joe S. Union site requires you to give name and reason for wanting to join, to filter out management people). This layoff site supports "anonymous " posters.

For Union employees who hate management, I fail to see why they want to join management on this board.

Dont worry by end of 3rd and 4th qtr, you will see an increase of what this board was intended for .

You shmuck! Joe's board was started by a FGTE management employee that was RIFd. It has been frequented for years by fGTE and ExCONs, way before Verizon was a thought. The majority of people that started posting there were management. It used to be a civil site, where union and management posters played nicely together, unlike the trash we see spewed on this site. That tells me something of the BA union types...

Every member is not covered under the layoff protection clause.

There is a site for union members to discuss workplace issues. It is not anonymous, and it is invitation only. If you're in CWA, you know what I'm talking about. If you don't, speak to your local officers.

@QGE I agree, this is a layoff board, and should be for managers and non Union only. There is no need for the Union here, they are safe, and sound when they stuck together, and fought for that protection in their strike.

Anyway lets discuss our Rif's, our Layoffs and futures. Also lets discuss different ways to abuse our union employees in retaliation for there solidarity and victory.

Can we all just get along..that is the problem at verizon from all levels of management down to the union workers.everyone thinks they are better than each other.we all are trying to make a living.I dont treat my managers or my union worker any different .I give them respect and thats what I expect in return.I want my managers to treat their workers fairly. If you make your work place a miserable place to work, your just creating an environment of ill will.alittle kindness will go a long way trust me I know.thats alittle advice to those manegers that think they are better than everyone else. Ill tell you that vz manegement is a hostile and cut throat place the higher you go.theres no reason for it...

I agree with the OP. The Union has fought, and won a No Layoff Clause. We didn't do that, and don't have that. This board is a layoff board, and should be for us only. We are the one's in jeopardy, not the Union staff, They are safe. So i would ask all the Union members to please have some respect for us. We need to discuss our layoffs!!!!

@onh Please don't display your ignorance any further. Joe Schmuck was created by management people for mostly management. It was actually started by fGTE employee. The original members of the website were all management and many continue to be there including myself. It has been around for over a decade. Please go sit in a corner while smacking your head against the wall.

If you cannot handle people from different groups, whether management or union then you don't have to visit this website. There is plenty of room on the internet for you to gripe about union people posting somewhere. We all get our paychecks from Verizon. You sound like an entitled idiot. So just STFU.

This is a site where lazy sheep union people go when they are hiding out in the central offices. They b--ch and complain about the company that pays them to do nothing. They are afraid to move on because they know nothing.

Even people who have bargained for and earned protection against involuntary layoffs can offer opinions and information about layoffs, or any other aspect of the business.

So your post is meaningless, regardless of how many exclamation marks you put after it.
