Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

This year we’ll pass 20bn cumulative mobile phones sold, and 5bn PCs.

Yet Intel has given up on apps processors for phones. LOL! Good job BK and PSO.

Wonderful display of Intel's arrogance and cluelessness in this thread.

Carry on as you were...

The world doesn't wait for Intel anymore.

@1ect

Reality is hard I know.

You'll be surprised at all the newfangled things the kids are using these days.

Did you know that you can buy a pocket computer that wirelessly connects to the Internet?

It can browse the web, play games, take pictures and videos, summon taxis, connect you to all your friends (assuming you have any) and oh by the way, it also makes phone calls.

Pull your head out of your a-- and consult the IDC and Gartner data.

No wonder Intel is in such a mess with ignoramuses like you walking about.

I have no idea what OP is on. You think 4x the number of mobile phones have been sold compared to PCs? That doesn't even pass a sanity check. 0/10 for trolling.

It's because BK s---s big time. Worst and dumbest CEO of all-time. He never deserved to be in the big leagues. Joke.

It would be wonderful sometime if people on this forum could spell and use English grammar correctly. And stop trolling and predicting the immediate demise of Intel.

I was searching for a free program to use to build the exact dimensions and cost of a paver patio. I jumped on my computer and after searching for 30 min gave up. Then I realized....sh-- I have a smart phone...within 30 seconds I had a free app from BOSCH and bam..was on my way. F-- Microsoft and their sh--ty non-app software. I soon will have everything I need to run my car, home, tv, and work right there on my 5.5-inch screen. RIP Intel...you feel asleep at the wheel and you well deserve to go under

The difference between ARMy of smartphones and x86 is much larger as the total number is misleading. The x86 took decades to get there, but smartphones less than one decade to drawf and swamp intel. This year more than a billion ARMy will be shipped while a paltry couple hundred million x86.

Guess who wins this war? The play x86 did on everyone else is being played on intel yet the manage t can't make the right and only response.
