A VZ severance pay question - do you maybe have a link for that internal website that's built for severance pay. Please let me know.

I just got laid off.... 12.35 years.... I got 67 percent of my prorated bonus for this year and I got 2 weeks for every year with the company.... total 25 weeks paid health insurance....
2015 package was 2 weeks pay for every year of service max 35 weeks. Medical coverage during the severance period, unused vacation paid but NOT accrued personal leave. On the payroll until 12/31/2015 but not working. Bonus (if eligible) was paid for the full 2015 years performance but managers could change your bonus payout with no explanation or repercussions.
I know someone who was RIF'ed last month and they received 2 weeks per year of service plus the 30 day notice.
If you're fortunate enough to get the 2 weeks for each year worked up to 17 years plus pro-rated bonus, then just take it and run. At some point they'll offer you a Snickers bar and t-shirt.
No one can say for sure. Severance is gratis which means Verizon doesn't have to offer anything.
Get out while you can make sure you hit rule of 73 or 75
If you are union is in the contract, if you are not union, it can be changed anytime without notice !
Marissa Mayer will get a great severance package. The rest of you .... not so much.
How do you know the oackage will be kess this year? Thats just a rumor...im sure it will be the same - provide proof if you know otherwise
dont assume you will get severance pay and if you do, all details will be in your RIF package .....I have heard it WILL change this year (Less not More) ...Those RIF'd pre-2016 got the best offerings
I found the link. It's right between the links for How To Lube Properly and Employee Assisted Suicide Benefits
There is none, and expect no severance in few years, beep glad you got one...
There is a link, it seems to move around though. Go to About You, then look under all HR policies. One fond a PDF will be launched that explains the plan.
There is a section that details what you would get if you retired now. On the e web. I would think they would post that info so all could see. Seems as they like to keep it on the down low as we're getting stuck.
Go to vzweb and search severance, there is a plan in there that goes over the basics on what you would receive. For example they waive ETF on your Verizon wireless account by for 30 days. Resume service they offer, healthcare coverage and more
No such thing. Your package will provide the details if you receive one.
