It should be 2017H1 and 2017H2
india higher ranks (directors, VP) have already been deeply slashed in the last 2 yrs, I think we are down to 1 VP in dev/test from around 10 at one point, likewise much fewer directors. and we have much much less of a overhang of DE/PE here. so its already pretty lean and light at higher levels (I hope!)
at mid and lower levels none can say which way winds will blow and what will get EOLed..if product has a deployed base, csco will usually still provide support first from itself and in the end phases through some outsourced co for some time or as long as major clients are on it and willing to pay.

Cisco will be the next one....I know colleagues that are already preparing the case :-)
yeah, OP jumped to 2017 too quickly, still plenty of layoff opportunities in 2016.
