Chromebooks are the cheap internet devices Intel thought it had with the netbooks and MIDs.... remember those failed initiatives? Not surprised they do better than Macs--way cheaper and do what you need if all you need is web access and phone-like features w/o power business applications. And that is the case for a lot of people.
Either way client is down quarter I've quarter for seven quarters. In economic terms that is a recession.
BKS response is to somehow think com oddity memories, IoT and modems might add growth which is laughable as none are Intel expertise nor has Intel ever really competed either. More epic fails in these segments should be expected with resulting huge losses and layoffs
