Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Better matters. Well, apparently we're no longer better. Now what?

Our customer service use to set us apart from the competition. Now with all of the jobs being sent overseas, we've even lost our advantage in that regard. When are we going to get rid of this out of touch, old b@stard of a CEO and all of his worthless cronies?

I would dump "all" of the Wireless BS artists! Just like Bloomberg points out, VZ is in a commoditized business and is really a diviend stock.

The Wireless "leaders" have jumped the shark over the steady state and into no-or-low growth territory. But the non-value growth whores that run this company continutally pi$$ free cash flow in the toilet on no return businesses like advertising.

Like it or not LowMac who really looks like he was sweating like a stuck pig, needs to be sweating because he has over levered and underdelivered.

Verizon is better. The problem is no one cares anymore.

If you wait long enough, Verizon will always contradict their previous statement. Reading that quote shows just how poor a job our leaders have really done in predicting the future of this business.

And that is just one example of many.

On the plus side we have a new check mark logo and company motto...

Verizon; the beatings will continue until morale improves.

Better Matters, or as Frank Shammo told Wall Street

“If the customer who is just price-sensitive and does not care about the quality of the network—or is sufficient with just paying a lower price—that’s probably the customer we’re not going to be able to keep,”

So it's not just the marketing people, its the entire culture of this very arrogant out of touch company.

I would dump the Chief Marketing Officer who paid a vendor to create the "better matters" campaign. His expertise is with a financially troubled mall clothing store- what a talented communications giant. Great job, guys. Give me a break!
