My desk was unattended while I was away attending a meeting. I came back to find my valuable that was casually lying at my desk visible to those walking by has been frisked. I will not be bringing a gold designer pen or anything else of value to work again.

I have never had anything stolen at Intel but I remember several spates of thefts at FM years ago, to the point that Security and FEP got involved and there was a Circuit article about it.

Sorry, but anyone that leaves a gold designer pen sitting unattended on their desk (or ANYWHERE for that matter) deserves to have it lifted as that is just plain stupidity. Sorry you got it ripped off (if you really did), but it is pretty stupid.
In answer to your question... I haven't had anything stolen in my 16+ years there. However, I know a gal who was there for a few months and someone stole her hand mirror. She wasn't very happy.
