Lufthansa was at an Aero site in the center of the country last year. It was said that they would be taking over the repairs of one of the TCAS system boxes that is on the A-350. Maybe this is part of that. We (the people who were most familiar with the product) speculated as to whether they were serious about doing level 3 ( component replacement) repairs without all of the 2 decade old Subtest equipment.
Just like everything on this site, if there is smoke... hmmm
