Rumblings in some meetings are saying a large layoff is coming in Oct. No date has been given yet. It might turn out like last year where layoff happened in Oct/Nov/Dec...Happy Holidays!!

Lay offs for support team in Greensboro call center will be end of Sept. Not end of year Iike they were originally told a few months ago. They were all informed this last Friday.

I would enjoy being off during the holiday months. Please add my name to the upcoming layoffs. I have been planning for this for 3 yesrs and I am mentally and financially ready. Bring it on BofA, you will be doing be a favor.

Expect some flattening as managers are being asked what percent of their time is spent managing vs being an individual contributor.
What jobs are they being trained for? QA? Loan servicing? Call center?
Last year they laid off a few groups the day before Thanksgiving
For some groups, the projected layoff date is October with a 30 day notice, meaning layoff in November. Don't forget to pony up and stay on long enough to train your replacement! Especially if you want that severance- you know you're only holding on for that. Haha. This place is a joke.

Personally I would not travel to train anyone, especially since this person is probably my replacement. Will do the job for 1/2 of what I make and end up doing a sh--ty job. Bank of America will get what they deserve. This company can kiss my ass
Sounds about right since several people are traveling to India to train them for the take over. What a slap in the face, training others to take your job, the bank has reached a new low.
