It may still be coming. It could happen the same time as the Sears layoffs and changes that people have talked about in other posts. They said that would happen September 9. They have way too many stores losing money and their financial situation is very dire. They can't get thru Christmas the way things are now.

Back at the beginning of the end, when the first massive firings began - at kmart - there was a huge meeting on a Thursday, but no one was fired until the next week. If your manager is walking around in a worse mood than usual, it ain't over....
longer stores stay open the more they lose-today alone they will have lost $5million....
