@J4uxFNl-wil Apple is brilliant, well designed laptops and no changes so a laptop from years ago looks like a current one. No stigma for having an old one and BTW the old one works just as well and no need to upgrade either.

Apple gets huge premium markup and laughs all the way to the bank. To

Apple of all vendors gets the very best price as Intel so afraid they wi go to ARM processors with their ow. IOS. Get components for cheaper and sell for more, brilliance for Apple, s---s for Intel, LOL

Because at their premium prices, nobody wants to constantly refresh their Apple laptops. The market has long shown that people keep their PCs four years or longer so why should Apple keep re-engineering those products? The difference for Apple is they don't depend on their PC business the way Intel does. They've got the phones. They also realized that while the iPad took off like a rocket, it quickly settled into a niche--nice to have, but no replacement for either a phone or a PC. So they are not refreshing iPads constantly either.

PC are good enough so nobody cares, you upgrade when you need to and that is why x86 sales keep dropping, but everyone will upgrade their phones
