RIF is BS?

I'm starting to wonder if the RIF in Phoenix Aero is BS .

Anyone else?

The RIF is very real. The reason for the delay was two fold; 1st, they had soooo many people volunteer for RIF packages that they are having trouble sorting through everyone. 2nd, AERO has thinned the ranks so much that there just isn't enough manpower to get everyone fired in a timely manner. This is so ironic since the lie dave told wall street was that the firings were due to honeywell being so streamlined and efficient that "all those extra people" just aren't needed anymore. Good one, dave!!!

Not BS - just hasn't happened yet.

HR is currently not allowing employee status changes that are normally easy to do.

Installations and Externals engineering group at Phx Engines told the RIF is end of Sept. The group is being eliminated including 2 or 3 managers. The rest are being folded into another dept. Lots of volunteers. Not sure why the RIF is delayed...it's crazy. Supposedly the delay is due to legal dept sifting through all the potential RIF-ees. No other groups/managers will discuss RIF.
