Possibly. In some locations Schlumberger is bringing in trainees while at the same time laying off others.
Honestly, have any of these companies earn any degree of confidence in anything they say or do. Even if one took a job with these people right now, you would be a target on day one. Worried that your position would be eliminated or worse the continued scorn of co- workers who realize that it may come down to them being sanctioned vs "the new guy". Uh- uh, woulndt walk into that mess now. Best to plan an exit from this industry all together.
Nothing but a BHI smokescreen.
Double bummer
These are just to show compliance to the government that they have jobs contributing to the economy. The likelihood of getting into any of these companies is good as trying to get into Exxonmobile aka don't waste your time applying right now.
Until at least 2020 the market in oil and gas is going to go up and down and pretty much it's going to be a roller coaster!
They're just going through the motions. If they take the job postings down, they're admitting the campus will soon close. Don't expect truthfulness from that den of weasels at HQ.
Bummer
