Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Severance Package, more changes....kinda

The severance package was recently changed to remove the 2wks per year benefit we have been used to for so long. Now it would seem that it have reverted back with a more recent revision dated 8/25/16. It now shows the band teirs and states "generally provides two weeks of base pay for each fully completed year of service". Max of 52wks.

Goto flagscape - search severance - scroll down to leaving the company - click on the .pdf.

Good luck to everyone this week.

Just keep in mind the company can pay you whatever severance they want. Look what IBM did to their employees by changing severance to 30 days regardless of years worked. It was in the media but nothing changed.

This is just how the bank operate on a regular basis, they throw stuff out there then revise it,this could be change 10 more times before they decide ,no one knows what the hell they are doing all across the board. They would have one smart person out of 10 and they work that person to death. The entire bank is going to hell in a hand basket.

Either that or it was just a test to see if the plebeians would riot. Maybe it was a mistake and not meant to roll out yet. Maybe they received backlash for doing it underhandedly and not letting anyone know. Who knows....

Just checked...wonder if they got heat for that last change or feared it would be sent to the media outlets.
