Kabylake is dead cat bounce. Probably the last one with some sort of credibility. Cannonlake will not see the light of day until 2018 and I wouldn't hold my breath for CoffeeLake to offer any kind of significant performance increase.
Nobody cares about the lakes. They're relics of the past with cumbersome clunky Windows interfaces which are very user hostile. Everything from malware infested websites to the constant overhead of virus scans and disruption patches that always require reboots. Who needs all that nonsense when all most people want to do is get on Facebook.
People are way more excited about iPhones, iPads and Samsung galaxies. These are the modern "PC"s
ALL of the new modern software apps are developed for mobile. Nobody is making Windows apps anymore. Apps like uber and instagram and snapchat don't even exist in Windows PCs. The majority of traffic to Facebook is now from mobile devices.
Windows PCs are dinosaurs. Why the heck would people want these anymore?
