Your employment is terminated the same day that your manager notifies you. In 5 minutes, you loose immigrations, health insurance, salary,... everything. get a copy of your work, as to have something to talk about in future interviews!

I think this is a generic statement. Severance is discretionary
Terrible. No warning whatso ever I hear. What business unit? How many others? Was it RIF or do thy fire people? I hear there is a severance at least.
