Within a short 2 years there have been 2 students murdered at the Ai Fort Lauderdale campus. Anyone else find that strange? This time it likely happened because two students in the same small apartment had no one to turn to with living condition problems. This over priced housing forces students not well suited to get along to have to live in the same small space. The campus had no RA and no Director of Student Affairs. There is not supervision. Very sad. This murder may have been prevented this is a lawyers dream and a parents nightmare.

Why do some of you think there should be supervision? These are college age adults!
This post is offensive. You should be ashamed of yourself trying to make some connection to AIFL and these tragedies. The most recent tragedy was an argument between two roommates that ended in one being stabbed who later died at the hospital. It is sad when tempers flare to a point like this and someone is injured or killed. But it could happen to anyone. I know some of you have it out for the Art Institutes and you may have valid complaints but to bring this tragedy into the discussion is sad and irresponsible. AIFL supported me in my program and the faculty are still available for mentoring and questions long after I graduated. I had a great experience there and have no complaints. I am sorry others did not have the same.
Has anyone been keeping tabs on John Poofball? Maybe he's getting revenge for all the students that cost him his job!
The one in 2014 was an off campus home invasion in Oakland Park.
The most recent murder happened in Davie and yes in campus housing. I don't know what kind of supervision is there; likely not enough.
I know whomever wrote this post wants to desperately connect the two to make AiFL look horrible but the one years ago is hard to make Ai's responsibility other than a student chose a crappy place to live.
