Is that lazy assed Paris office still around. Those french people are the laziest smelly slobs in the industry. Don’t know how that country produces anything except wine and cheese.

That Cisco office should have been shut down two years ago if not for the workers strike.

For an office that was purportedly closed there still seem to be a lot of former Paris staffers floating around inside the company.

Apparently there is some regret for giving the office the axe.

many thanks to your help, " SoCalledCommunist" and her associate, french spvss deadwood are now cut at low cost and we can now hope a great raise on NAO, more for less.

I think that Y&Y managers can thank you, their bonus are at the highest.

I also thank you for pushing discontents away!

now we are all focused on our work and our great perspectives.

congratulations for your work.

PS: we are waiting a good severance package for the next LR, not the outsourced one, you understand well.

An answer for the guy who wrote :

"Anyway there is no place for you man in a multinational company unless you speak more proper English"

When Americans or English would speak a foreign language, we'll see.

For now, few would speak correctly other than English.

Poor jobbers !

Sounds far better than it could have been! Why is anyone on strike?

To answer the questions from our UK colleague, CTS has its own bonus system far less appealing than the CISCO one, especially for grades 10 and below. CTS has less leaves than CISCO France also. Thanks to the "CE" members that are so called communists sold to the management, negotiations took place that led to the following outcome (applicable to France only obviously):

-CISCO PLI at the target (IPF, CPF set to 1.0) is guaranteed for people present on August 2017

-Transfert Bonus of 6K € for people present on February 2017

-CTS bonus system

-Salary raise of 75% of the delta between CISCO PLI Target and CTS target on 1st January 2018

-Same average salary raise for former CISCO people than CTS people on July 2016 (still discretionary though)

-Decent training budget guaranteed on a 24 months period for digital TV, IOT, bank, health, depending on the wishes of the employees and the needs and opportunities within the company

-Job guaranteed for 24 months (36 for people over 50), faults apart, so no layoff package

-RSU: accelerated vesting for RSU normally available on February 2017

If that can serve as a basis for other negotiations.

Thanks everyone for the information on the situation in France, specifically with regard to SPVSS. But could someone explain what the actual downsides are to the outsourcing are please? Do you lose the Cisco bonus? Or shares? Or annual leave? Or layoff package? Thanks from one of your UK colleagues - and good luck over there.

@JBPqIPR-6ltl

facts you are relating are about cisco france or Cisco VTF?

Post ID: @6ske+JBPqIPR

@JBPqIPR-6sjc not really true, CE members were placed on some LR lists but quickly given another position inside Cisco, they were on the list just for making impression, pretending they are at risk just like their colleagues, but all were given the possibility to have another job inside Cisco and all are in Cisco today and will also be after this LR! They negotiated their safe warm places! That's what CE negotiate... their places! More dead wood than CE in France is hard to find...

Of course CE members have been impacted by both LRs and outsourcing.

Question, did any member of CE France ever been LR'd during the last 5 LR, plan social as called in France, or they are above that in their safe places? That's a fact!

The fact is that you don't know a damn thing about french regulations, worker council and trade unions.

Not mentioning that you can't even write decent english.

CE representatives are trade union!

all peoples in CVTF CE are coming from trade union list. French law allows independent representative when there is no trade union list or not enough vote.

CE members are leaded by 2 trade union representative from CGT (f---ing communist) and from CGC!

outsourced people make a assembly that asked with a vote of near 90% to the CE members not render a judgment on the operation. This to block the process!

The First thing that CE members (exept one that concerned by outsourcing) does were to bypass this deliberation.

Here are the fact!

really thanks

By the way, there is some C.E. people that are concerned by transfer to Cognizant so stop saying bullshits on colleagues...

(If you are not happy with my english, you can also "vous faire voir ailleurs")

I can't believe what I have just read. Big mouthed people that are not in France and that have no real info just can shut up !!!

  • C.E. is not a trade union nor something like that : they are colleagues that have been elected to represent us in front of the direction (sorry guys, but if you are too stupid to defend yourselves, it's up to you).

  • They have tried to defend us in front of RH managers that didn't want to negociate anything (if you want to spite poison, do it against CISCO managers that dispose of human lifes as ressources).

CE: Comite d'Entreprise = smth like a trade union

Your memory span is quite limited. Guess, speaking English is more important than memorizing what one just read.

What's CE is that frenglish?

Anyway there is no place for you man in a multinational company unless you speak more proper English.

I heard those who were sold are just lazy pricks hiding behind legacy with big salary and no connection to the real market.

So Cisco's decision is clear in that case ...

In France the most treators are the CE ( Comite d'Entreprise = smth like a trade union) guys, the ones that actually should represent and defend the employees. In France the laws for LR are quite protective so CE has a lot of power to negotiate but instead, CE just negotiate their safe places with the Direction of Cisco France, CE France is completely sold! I never see someone from CE advocating for employees infront of direction and I never saw someone from CE France being LR'd.

the best are trade union representatives protecting themselves and letting alone outsourced people. I understand they, they are not losing PLI, RSU, art 83, CE, etc...

The story has some truth in it but maybe things changed since yesterday and it has escalated. There was a sit in protest about a visit by these people some weeks ago.

How aligned is the work in CF and Staines with an all IP video strategy?

Post ID: @1eeh+JBPqIPR

We keep seeing this CF/Staines outsourcing rumour but where's it coming from? Is there any substance to it?

by

India and Norway are also impacted (already done) by the outsourcing to cognizant. CF and Staines will follow after negotiations with our (historical) client.

85 being outsourced from SPVSS France to Cognizant. Is that enough to satisfy the Moloch?
