Make friends with the right people. S--- up. Get in and be part of the good ol' boys club. Ride personal relationships to more money and undue praise. In other words nothing has changed, it won't change, and when it all crashes down it'll be leadership shrugging their shoulders with their buddies and moving onto a new company to create the friend network all over again. I have never seen a place that functions so heavily on putting undeserving people in positions of power because of friendships outside of the company. It's been 7 years and I long ago quit playing the game because I watched too many people that weren't successful in the entry positions move up due to schmoozing rather than actual success. Oh well I'll stay until they push me out when the doors close.
