I walked into a Sears thinking I would find a costume for my kid but there were none to be found. Am I looking too early or is Sears not getting any?

Nah, I'm buying my kids' costumes from Amazon. Sears hasn't been loyal to me why should I be loyal to them.
Christmas never comes to SHC. It is just groundhog day over and over-- nothing changes and nothing gets better. Just the same old nightmare

Saw costumes in Kmart in CA competing against better costumes at home depot.
Enjoy that Reindeer Run with no ASMs. But I bet now the sub 9M stores will have an Xsmall assortment or will be totally nixed, less collateral and liability stock

Our Christmas decorations are out in the store I work at.
Kmart is able to restrict seasonal merchandise returns to only be allowed within the season. Halloween can't be returned past Oct. 30, for example.
It is not so simple on the Sears side. A member can purchase Christmas on Dec. 24 and return it 30 days later. Just ask any Sears store manager about how frustrating it is to have to accept a Christmas tree return way past the middle of January.
Either order your costume online or wait for a Halloween Express to open so you can try a costume on.
I haven't seen anything regarding us carrying costumes.

Most retailers put a no return on seasonal merchandise. We haven't gotten that one down.
At least we are smart about not selling costumes.
My Sears store has never sold any costumes, at least for the four years I have worked there, maybe other Sears stores do but mine doesn't. I know Kmart sells them.
